This 9-hour program brings children together in a fun and social environment to work on positive food experiences, fine motor skills, and independence with cooking.

What We Work On:

  • Following directions and teamwork with peers

  • Sensory issues and comfort during meals

  • Exploring foods, temperatures, and textures

  • Fine motor skills and kitchen skills

  • Planning, organizing, and budgeting for meals

Social Skills Therapy Group

Children learn self-awareness and interpersonal skills, from basic social cues to maintaining conversations with peers. Sessions may incorporate the Social Thinking curriculum by Michelle Garcia Winner.

What We Work On:

  • Looking toward a speaker and respecting personal space

  • Understanding emotions and non-verbal language

  • Listening and communication skills

  • Initiating and maintaining conversations

  • Problem identification and problem-solving

  • Dealing with teasing and bullying

  • Expected behaviors and “WE vs ME” thinking

Ages 7-10: Tuesday evenings, 5:00-6:30 pm
Ages 11-14: Tuesday evenings, 6:45-8:15 pm

This 8-week group is for kids and teens who want to connect with peers in a fun, less-structured environment. Each week includes dinner and activities based on group interests.

What to Expect:

  • Structured and non-structured activities

  • Outings to nearby locations

  • Opportunities to meet like-minded peers

  • Support for continued friendships beyond the group

Upcoming Sessions:
Tuesday evenings, 5:30-7:30 pm

Spring Session: April 28 – June 16, 2026
Cost: $800 per session ($100 per week)

Handwriting and Fine Motor Skills Group

This 9-hour program brings children together in a fun and social environment to work on positive food experiences, fine motor skills, and independence with cooking.

  • Illegible handwriting or messy coloring

  • Difficulty with letter size, placement, formation, and spacing

  • Immature pencil grip or awkward posture during writing

  • Slow handwriting or heavy pressure

  • Difficulty with fasteners (buttons, zippers, snaps, laces)

  • Difficulty with fine motor strength or dexterity

This 6-session group uses a multi-sensory approach to build confidence with writing, pencil grasp, and visual motor skills in a fun setting.

"It's Our Turn, Too" Siblings Group [NEW]

This 6-week group provides:

  • Special time for non-Autistic siblings who may feel left out

  • Opportunities to meet peers with similar experiences

  • Confidence building and mindfulness-based sessions

  • Fun activities for both Autistic and non-Autistic siblings

  • Connection with other families navigating similar journeys

Upcoming Sessions:
Monday evenings, 4:30-5:45 pm
Winter 2026: January 12 – February 16, 2026

Cost: $900 per session (includes both siblings, $150 per week)

Language, Literacy and Playskills for Preschoolers [NEW]

This 8-week program uses play, stories, crafts, snacks, and movement to build vocabulary, language, and social skills.

Why Play and Reading Matter:

  • Play is how children learn about the world

  • Play builds vocabulary and social skills

  • Reading exposes children to new words and concepts

  • Each session introduces new stories with related activities

Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:30-11:30 am

Session 1: January 6 & 8, 2026 (8 weeks)

  • Understanding and recognizing different emotions

  • Identifying triggers for emotions and behaviors

  • Learning to recognize body cues (interoception)

  • Developing coping strategies

Siblings Support Group [NEW]

This program allows siblings to meet others with shared experiences, explore how they and their sibling each shine, and share worries and emotions in a safe environment.
