Who We Are...

…a team of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who have completed Masters level training and are registered to practice within the province of Manitoba by the College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM), the College of Occupational Therapy of Manitoba (COTM) and the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba (CPM).  

All of our Speech-Language Pathologists also are certified, or in the process of completing certification, with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) and/or the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) both of which are national advocacy and clinical certification bodies.   Our Occupational Therapists also are certified, or in the process of completing certification, with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).

Meet The Team

Speech-Language Pathologist/Clinic Owner

DANNA KAPLAN, RSLP, S-LP(C), CCC-SLP

Danna received her B.A. with a major in Psychology and a minor in Linguistics at the University of Manitoba in 1993 and a Post-Baccalaureate in Communication Disorders from the University of North Dakota in 1994. She has been a speech-language pathologist since 1996, following the completion a Master's degree in Communication Disorders, with additional specialized training in Early Childhood Intervention, from the University of Houston. Being in Texas provided a great opportunity for clinical training including internships in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston and Rehabilitation Institute of San Antonio (RIOSA). Following graduation, Danna practiced in San Antonio, Texas until 2005, in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, early childhood centers as well as the early childhood program within the public school system. After having her own children, Danna moved back to Winnipeg with her husband and three lovely, now grown, boys so that they could be closer to their families.

ANDRIA GREEN, RSLP, CCC-SLP

Andria is currently practicing with both the adult and paediatric populations within the public health system and in private practice. Andria splits her time by practicing with adults half-time, and paediatrics half-time. Andria began her education at the University of Manitoba, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Linguistics, and minoring in Psychology. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2012 with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Andria's current interests and specializations include Cognitive and Communication Disorders in Adults, Feeding/Swallowing and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

TANNIS MILES, RSLP, CCC-SLP

Tannis began her education at the University of Manitoba, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Psychology, and minoring in Linguistics. She graduated from St. Cloud State University in 1995 with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Tannis has worked in private practice and in the public health setting over the last 20 years. She has enjoyed working with children and adults in a variety of settings. Tannis has extensive knowledge and experience working with articulation, phonology, motor speech delays and disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as cognitive and developmental language delays.

MARY DREGER, B.A.

Mary has been working in an administrative position for many years. She transitioned from an office manager of a transportation logistics company to an assistant controller position as a senior accountant. ​As her family grew, she took on a full-time position of parenting. Coming back into the workforce, Mary joined our team as an administrator in 2022. We are so lucky to have her! Mary is here to assist you in starting the process for booking appointments or any billing and payment issues or general inquiries. She is the middle person between you and our therapist team and will get the process started for beginning speech or occupational therapy services. You can call Mary for assistance or to answer questions and you will see just how amazing she is in her position at Milestones Therapy.

Megan De Cruz, B.Sc., MScOT, Reg. (MB)

Megan graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Brain and Cognition. Megan is the first Occupational Therapist to join Milestones Therapy and we are thrilled to have her join our team and to offer occupational therapy services to our clients. Megan’s interests including handwriting, sensory processing, self-regulation, executive functioning, fine and gross motor skill development, among other areas. She has an interest in working with children and youth. Megan has experience providing occupational therapy services in-person as well as virtual services.

Donna Harvey, RSLP, S-LP, CCC-SLP

Donna received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg with a major in English and a minor in Linguistics. She continued onto Moorhead State University where she received a Bachelor of Science and in 1997 a Master’s degree in the Science of Speech-Language Pathology. ​Donna has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in both the public and private educational settings as well as in a variety of private clinic settings, in Ontario, for over 25 years. Donna has worked primarily with children in a variety of environments across Ontario, but has varied career opportunities including instructing Communicative Disorder Students (CDAs) at Georgian College in Orillia, Ontario. Donna relocated to Winnipeg in 2017 and currently works full time in the Winnipeg school system in addition to her work with Milestones Therapy. Donna's interests and specializations include articulation and phonology, motor speech delays and disorders, fluency, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), vocal abuse, accent reduction, and cognitive and developmental language delays and disorders.

Jaynee Weiss, RSLP

Jaynee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Dakota in 2001, followed by a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the same institution in 2003. With a passion for helping others, Jaynee began her career in pediatrics, before transitioning to public schools in 2005, where she has since worked with individuals of various ages. As a member of CASLPM, she upholds the highest standards of her profession. Jaynee's approach to therapy is rooted in neurodiversity affirmation, believing in the beauty of all brains. She fosters trust, safety, and regulation in her practice, understanding their crucial role in communication development. Jaynee strives to build strong, enjoyable relationships with her clients, supporting them and their families in embracing communication differences while enhancing communication skills to enrich their lives.

Gagneet Grewal, SLP-CF

Gagneet has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo before completing her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Pennsylvania Western University in Edinboro. Prior to her graduate studies, Gagneet worked for two years as a Communicative Disorders Assistant in Ontario, where she gained valuable experience working with the pediatric population. Her work has included early intervention, articulation and phonology, expressive and receptive language disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. ​Gagneet is passionate about helping children communicate and enjoys finding creative, playful ways to keep her young clients engaged and progressing. She provides speech-language services both in-person and virtually, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each child.

Jennifer Nicdao, OT, Reg. (MB)

Jennifer earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba in 2011, after the completion of Bachelor of Science with a major in Microbiology. With a dedicated focus on pediatrics, Jennifer has worked with infants, preschoolers, and school-aged children in a variety of settings, including daycares, clinics, and schools. She is currently a full-time Occupational Therapist at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children. Jennifer is passionate about building strong collaborative relationships with families and believes in child led therapy, using a child’s interests and strengths to foster engagement and skill development. She is committed to coaching and building capacity in caregivers and equipping them with effective strategies to support their child’s interests, skills and learning.

Andrea Ketler, RSLP

Andrea Ketler is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist with over two decades of experience supporting children with diverse communication needs, including speech sound disorders and language delays. Passionate about practical, evidence-based care, she focuses on empowering parents and educators with the tools they need to help children succeed in everyday environments. She believes that the most meaningful progress happens when therapy extends beyond the clinic, allowing every child to confidently find their voice and reach their full potential.

Stacey Grabowski

Stacey is a certified **Orton-Gillingham (OG) Associate** with the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators, as well as a practitioner with OG Canada. She holds a **bachelor’s degree in psychology** from the University of Western Ontario and two **Post-Baccalaureates in Education** from the University of Manitoba and D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York (Education Certification Program). Stacey is a certified **Manitoba teacher** with 25+ years of experience in early years education. Throughout her career in education, she has worked in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, student services teacher, and an early literacy intervention specialist. These experiences have allowed her to work with students with diverse learning needs and developmental disabilities in both public and private settings. In addition to her current full-time employment in the public school system, she provides specialized literacy intervention services to students of varied ages and backgrounds, including those diagnosed with *dyslexia, dysgraphia, or those in need of literacy remediation.* Her work has been both **in-person and online**, serving learners in Manitoba as well as across other Canadian provinces. The Orton-Gillingham approach is an explicit, multisensory, structured, and sequential method for teaching literacy. Stacey is an OG practitioner who works with children *to build strong reading, spelling, and writing skills in a supportive and structured environment.* She helps students develop confidence while targeting areas such as phonics, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
